Lalo Moreno

Lalo Moreno the Co-Founders of Expanding Identities Development, ensuring that organizations are utilizing best practices when working with LGBTQ folks. Since graduated with their MA in Educational Studies and received their BA in Philosophy, with minors in Sociology, and Pre-Law, they have centered their academic work around Queer Theory and LGBTQ informed educational and administrative systems. Lalo also works as the Director of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Student Services (LGBTSS) and Intercultural Initiatives at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Lalo has been engaging youth and professional populations in storytelling, resonance building, leadership development, and educational attainment for the past 6 years. Needless to say, they love all things LGBTQ. Along with co-founding EiD, Lalo hopes to pursue their Ph.D. in Queer Studies, opening their own LGBTQ Community Center …and maybe if they’re feeling ambitious their Law Degree.

Tasha Colin

Since moving to Los Angeles almost 8 years ago, Tasha has become passionately involved in queer activism and education. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Queer Studies from Antioch University Los Angeles, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles, with a double specialization in LGBT Affirmative Psychology and Applied Community Psychology. She also worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center for many years, working as the Program Coordinator for their youth development and mentoring program LifeWorks, and conducted LGBTQ proficiency trainings all across Los Angeles.

Kristina Boudreau

Branding, Marketing, Design

A self-defined nerd and weirdo, Kristina began to develop into a textbook ‘Creative’ from an early age. She is fascinated by the world and how we interact with it, which led to an exciting and rewarding career focused on digital products and user experience design. On her personal time she enjoys making things with her hands and is an amateur blacksmith, spending hours forging useful items out of scrap and old tools. As an LGBTQ individual, the mission of EiD resonated deeply with her, and the opportunity to lend her skills to the team has been both rewarding and inspiring.

Jessica-Jean de la Vega

Social Media Specialist

Jessica-Jean is a non-binary femme of center homeless youth turned service provider with CHLA. For the past four and half years Jessica-Jean has navigated spaces from activism to television. She appears in the Emmy nominated documentary MTV docs: Transformation. She continues to use her experience as a former homeless youth to raise awareness for her own community via public speaking, trainings, panels, and film. As a service provider she now works to provide space for current trans folks who have experienced substance abuse and trauma.
